FAQS
DO YOU TAKE MY INSURANCE?
That depends on your insurance. If you have Blue Cross Blue Shield, MassGeneral Brigham or Medicare insurance we will bill your insurance directly. If you have another insurance provider we will give you a "superbill" that includes all the information needed to for you to submit to insurance for reimbursement. Many patients receive full reimbursement.
Understanding what your insurance covers and doesn't cover is really important. That's why we've made this checklist here. Give your insurance company a call and have this ready to fill out. It should provide a straight forward idea of your benefits.
We are considered an Out-of-Network Providers for all except Blue Cross Blue Shield, MassGeneral Brigham and Medicare.

If you have Medicare with a secondary Insurance other than Blue Cross or MassGeneral Brigham then we are technically out of network and we do not take your insurance. Its confusing! But we're here to help you understand.
DO I NEED A DOCTOR’S PRIOR-AUTHORIZATION OR REFERRAL?
That depends on your specfic insurance coverage. Call your insurance to find out what is required before starting physical therapy. Generally you do need one for an HMO and you don't for a PPO. Please find out before your visit, otherwise you may be responsible for full payment. A referral is not the same as Prior Authorization. You may require prior authorization. You personally are required to obtain your authorization before your scheduled visit. Give your primary care's referral department Padme Physical Therapy's NPI 1558883371 and fax number 781-314-8163 as well as the date of your first visit.
WHERE DO I PARK FOR MY APPOINTMENT?
Street Parking is free and easy. If you have trouble walking, there is a small lot listed as 4 Pearl Street with 4 spaces marked for Stil Studio. These are available for Padme PT patients to use during their appointments. Free parking is along High street, Church and School Street, Court Street and Free parking in the Keystone lot towards the shops in the square.

A NOTE FROM ALICIA:
The human body has an amazing capacity to heal itself. On that journey of healing, we often find greater benefit with guidance. At Padme Physical Therapy, we offer compassionate care to ensure you are on your path of healing. Physical therapy can help people maintain, restore, and improve movement, activity, and functioning. Returning to or finding more physical mobility can greatly increase your quality of life and potentially lead to a happier overall existence.

In a physical therapy evaluation, your injury will be evaluated and diagnosed, and a plan of care will be created in order to return you to optimal, pain-free function. Treatment may involve manual hands-on techniques, functional assessment, and treatments to get to the root of your issue. Your posture and body mechanics will be assessed and any mal-alignments and less than optimal movement patterns will be addressed. Through a prescribed program of therapeutic exercises and stretches to heighten your awareness, you can move into less pain and create the change your body is asking for. Limitations can range anywhere from getting a good night sleep to lifting groceries, running, shoveling or lifting a kayak into the Charles.
With a holistic approach to treatment, the therapists at Padme Physical Therapy are able to deliver a unique, individualized, skilled and compassionate experience of healing. Get in touch to learn about the services we provide.
